Overview
Hazy Cliff Shrine is a remote Shinto shrine in western Toyotama, in Otsuna Prefecture. Its torii gates stand at the entrance to a narrow coastal ravine, while the shrine itself is positioned high above the surrounding cliffs. Reaching it is a traversal challenge rather than a combat encounter. The route uses narrow ledges, squeeze-through gaps, broken bridges, wires and several grapple points, making the Grapple Hook essential.
The shrine honours Ryūjin, the kami associated with the sea. Completing it grants the Charm of Ryuujin, which restores one Kunai after Jin performs a Perfect Dodge. The shrine also contributes to the base game’s collection of Shinto Shrines and the associated shrine-completion trophy.
