Overview
Lush Peak Shrine is a remote Shinto shrine on the eastern side of Toyotama, within the wider Yarikawa area. It stands at the end of a long, highly vertical climbing route above the coast. Unlike a combat-focused Mongol camp or a story settlement, the shrine is a self-contained traversal challenge built around grappling, swinging, narrow ledges, rope-walking and carefully judged jumps.
The shrine is best known for its reward, the Charm of Shinatsuhiko, which protects Jin from having his melee attacks interrupted for six seconds after he staggers an enemy. It also contains Wax Wood, an important bow-upgrade material. A frog statue near the approach functions as a hidden altar and can be honoured with a bow.
Lush Peak Shrine becomes particularly convenient to visit while exploring the Yarikawa region in Act 2, but it is not itself a story mission location. Its entrance and route are available as an open-world activity once Jin can freely travel through the relevant part of Toyotama.
