Overview
Marsh Rock Shrine is a Shinto Shrine in the wetland country of Toyotama. It stands in the Firefly Marsh area, north-east of Akashima Village and south of the broader marshland around Firefly Marsh. The site is reached through a short but deliberately confusing climbing route involving rock ledges, a narrow fissure and the grappling hook.
Honouring the shrine awards the Charm of Izanami, a major defensive charm that improves Jin’s Iron Will technique. When equipped, Iron Will revives Jin with 50% of his maximum health rather than merely bringing him back with the technique’s normal recovery. The shrine also provides Wax Wood, including a pickup near the shrine itself.
