Overview
Senjo Gorge is one of Iki Island’s most important story locations. It is not simply a scenic canyon or a named point on the map. The gorge is the place where Lord Kazumasa Sakai was killed during his failed attempt to pacify Iki, and where a young Jin Sakai secretly witnessed his father’s death. Years later, Jin returns with Tenzo and the Raider allies to use the same terrain as an ambush site against the Eagle.
Senjo Gorge is visited most directly during The Blessing of Death, the final major main tale of the Iki storyline. It also appears in Jin’s childhood memories during Memories of Your Father. After The Blessing of Death, Kazumasa’s End becomes available as a permanent point of interest, and the game opens up additional map information around the area.
