Overview
Yagata Farmstead is a rural settlement in the Kashine prefecture of Izuhara, positioned between Yagata Forest and the Old Trading Post. It is primarily an agricultural area, made up of cultivated fields, farm buildings, homes and a small shrine-like site. During the early game it can appear peaceful, but after the story advances into Act 2, Yagata Farmstead becomes a Mongol-occupied territory that Jin Sakai can liberate.
The farmstead is also one of the required locations in The Unbreakable Gosaku, the Mythic Tale associated with Gosaku’s legendary armour. Yagata’s principal story-related importance is therefore twofold: it is both a liberation target and one of the farmsteads whose key is needed to open Gosaku’s armour cache.
