Overview

Rumoi River is a named river landmark in the Ishikari Plain, one of the six principal regions in Ghost of Yōtei. It is best understood as a navigational feature and story-route landmark rather than a self-contained settlement or independently selectable region. The river sits within the wider Ishikari Plain, linking several nearby points of interest and providing a recognisable route through the northern part of the region.

Its most important confirmed role is in the Ishikari Plain story sequence associated with Jubei. During the later part of The Oni, Atsu travels with Jubei across the Rumoi River on the way to a shrine. The river is also used as a positional reference for the Northern Matsumae Camp, which lies between Rumoi River and White Deer Woodlands. A separate wolf-den activity, Old Wound Wolf Den, is recorded west of the river.
