Overview
Golden Summit Shrine is a Shinto shrine in Ariake Prefecture, Izuhara, positioned south of the Golden Temple. It is one of the earliest major shrines most players can reach, and its close relationship with the Golden Temple makes it a natural early exploration target. The shrine’s torii-marked route climbs through a broken mountainside rather than following a conventional road. Its short platforming course uses ruined bridges, exposed beams, narrow rock passages and ledges before reaching the shrine at the summit.
Completing the shrine awards the Charm of Amaterasu, a useful major charm that restores a moderate amount of health whenever Jin kills an enemy. The shrine also grants one Wax Wood, an important bow-upgrade material.
