Overview

Kuta Farmstead is a large agricultural settlement in Ariake Prefecture, Izuhara, positioned east of the Golden Temple and north of Kuta River Bridge. It is one of the farmsteads that become Mongol territories after the Mongols retaliate against Tsushima’s remaining settlements. The area is therefore encountered in two distinct states: first as an ordinary farming community during early exploration, then as an occupied territory that Jin must liberate by rescuing hostages.

The farmstead is important for more than its liberation reward. Its most significant progression connection is The Unbreakable Gosaku, the Mythic Tale that ultimately awards Gosaku’s Armour. Kuta Farmstead is one of the six settlements whose liberation provides a key for that tale. It also contains a story-related collectible from A Family’s Escape, a useful early vanity item, and a number of smaller environmental details that are easy to miss if the player simply follows the territory objectives.
