Abandoned Shack is a small, isolated structure on the snowy mountain route through Teshio Ridge. It has little conventional gameplay content of its own, but it is an important link in The Crimson Kimono. The shack is where Atsu finds the next written clue in the daughter’s trail after following the red yuki mushi from the second Mother Daughter Tree.

The location is deliberately presented as a temporary refuge or former home rather than a functioning building. There is no verified merchant, armourer, inn, fast-travel point, resident or permanent combat encounter attached to it. Its purpose is narrative: the player enters, investigates the interior and reads the note that sends the investigation south-west towards the northern Teshio River.

The shack should therefore be understood as a child location within the Hakodake Mountains section of Teshio Ridge, rather than as a broad subregion. Nearby mountain landmarks and activities remain separate locations, even when guides use them to give directions.
