Overview

The Abandoned Tominaga Estate is a haunted samurai compound in the Tokachi Range, reached through a Mysterious Gate south of Shizunai Woods. It is the central location of The Spider Lily General, a Mythic Tale in Chapter 1, The Lone Wolf. The estate is not simply a ruined residence. Its quest area includes the mist-covered plateau beyond the gate, a pagoda, a graveyard, a bamboo maze, the Southern Caverns and the sealed estate compound itself.

Atsu comes here seeking the armour of General Tominaga, a warrior whose grief after his daughter Yuri’s death transformed him into a violent legend. The estate’s progression is deliberately structured around four symbolic locations named by the locked gate: the pagoda, gravestone, maze and cave. Each supplies one key. Once the gate is opened, Atsu can investigate the ruined household and training ground before confronting the Spider Lily General in a duel.

The location is one of the game’s most self-contained supernatural areas. Its fog, red spider lilies, apparently impossible maze and recurring image of Tominaga’s daughter are all tied to the same story rather than being separate open-world activities.
