Overview
Crow’s Nest Watchtower is a small elevated landmark in the Yōtei Grasslands, positioned north-west of the Old Inn and across a river. It is useful both as a visual navigation point and as a high vantage location from which Atsu can survey the surrounding fields with her spyglass. The tower also contains the Veiled Sandogasa Hat, making it worth visiting even if the player is not following a specific quest.
The location is not documented as a broad settlement, enemy stronghold or multi-building district. Available evidence supports treating it as a single watchtower landmark with a roof area, a lookout function and a small interaction involving a settler troubled by birds. There is currently insufficient evidence to expand its scope into a larger “Abandoned Watchtower” region.
The location’s name suggests a tower associated with crows, and the available guide evidence supports that association through the bird-related interaction at the roof. However, the sources do not establish a detailed history for the tower, its original builders or whether it was ever formally abandoned. The adjective “abandoned” should therefore not be added to the canonical name without stronger evidence.
