Overview
Benten Port is a major settlement on the Oshima Coast in Ghost of Yōtei. It lies in the shadow of Matsumae Castle and functions as one of the region’s principal hubs for equipment, gambling, bounties, character encounters and story progression. It is also a useful staging point for travelling through the coastal district, although several activities associated with Benten Port lead outside the settlement itself.
The port becomes especially important during Chapter 2, The Onryō, when Atsu reaches the Oshima Coast. The main tale The Saito Brothers brings Atsu to the settlement’s gate, where she meets a Matsumae soldier and begins Echoes of the Storm, a sequence that leads into Matsumae Castle.
