Overview

Boar’s Eye Cave is a named location in the Tokachi Range of Ghost of Yōtei. It lies in the north-eastern part of the region, close to the route leading towards the Great Lake. Although its name suggests a single cave interior, the playable location is better understood as a small cave-and-hillside complex. It includes the approach outside the cave, an underground passage, the Suspicious Thicket, a hostile camp or false cave above the tunnel system, and a prisoner-rescue route connected to the bounty hunt for Junpei the Snatcher.

The location is primarily associated with a bounty rather than a permanent settlement, commercial district or story hub. Its most important reward is the 750-coin payment for completing Junpei the Snatcher. The area also contains a Clan Matsumae Hat during the bounty sequence and has a nearby Ainu item, Kuyoy, positioned outside the cave complex rather than clearly inside the cave itself.
