Overview
Budding Grace Shrine is the sole Shrine Climb recorded in the Oshima Coast region of Ghost of Yōtei. It lies on the coast’s far southern or south-eastern side, in the wider Esan Inlet area. The shrine is reached by following torii gates into a long, mostly linear mountain ascent built around handholds, tree limbs, ropes, grapple points, slides and narrow rock passages.
Unlike a combat shrine or a mission area, Budding Grace Shrine is primarily a traversal puzzle. Its challenge comes from reading the intended route, choosing when to jump or grapple, and recovering from awkward landings without losing your bearings. The climb is also one of the more vertical shrine activities in the game, making it a useful test of movement skills before attempting the remaining optional content.
The shrine awards the Charm of Takemikazuchi, a Major Melee Charm associated with lightning strikes during Heavenly Slash. The exact wording is reported as a moderate chance to call down lightning on a nearby enemy, followed by a 30-second cooldown.
