Overview

The Daisetsuzan Volcanic Group is a real geological region in central Hokkaidō, not a confirmed location in Ghost of Yōtei. It is a group of volcanic peaks centred on a roughly 2-kilometre-wide caldera and includes Mount Asahi, the highest mountain in Hokkaidō. In the modern landscape it forms part of Daisetsuzan National Park, alongside the Tokachi Mountain Range and other mountain areas.

They also identify Mount Yotei as a small side area rather than a full main region. None of these sources lists a region called Daisetsuzan Volcanic Group.
