Overview
Mount Yōtei is listed as a small side area rather than one of the six principal regions. It is reached via the Mount Yōtei Shrine path in the western Yōtei Grasslands and contains one Altar of Reflection. It is separate from the wider Yōtei Grasslands, although the route into it begins there.
The sources also state that Mount Yōtei has one Altar of Reflection and no listed hot springs, shrine climbs, bamboo strikes or fox dens.
The Echoes of Sekigahara expansion adds the Ashoro Foothills, which is described as a previously unseen region outside the base-game map. Expansion guides place its content in Ashoro rather than in a base-game Mount Asahi region. The expansion includes new story material, side content, bounties and collectibles, but the sources reviewed do not establish that Ashoro Foothills and Mount Asahi are the same place.
One guide describes routes through locations including Ashoro Springs, Another Man’s Treasure, the Snake’s Estate, Mount Akan, A Buried Promise and Dream’s End, but this still does not verify a named Mount Asahi zone or provide a reliable boundary for one.
