Overview

Deserted Village is an abandoned settlement in the snowy Teshio Ridge region of Ghost of Yōtei. Although its name suggests a quiet exploration location, the village is occupied by the Yōtei Six and functions primarily as an enemy camp. Clearing it restores access to an Altar of Reflection and reveals a Nine Tails Puzzle Box nearby.

The settlement lies on the northern side of Teshio Ridge, east of Sarobetsu Lake and immediately before the Hakodake Mountains. A frozen stream runs west from the village towards the lake, making the location easier to recognise from the surrounding snowfield. The village also sits close to the western edge of the Hakodake range, with a shrine-climbing route reported east of the settlement.

Deserted Village is not a normal safe settlement. It has no verified shop, blacksmith, inn, settlement quest hub or permanent named resident. Its importance comes from the camp-clearance activity, the Altar of Reflection and the associated puzzle-box progression.
