Overview
Forgotten Shrine is a small but unusually important location on the western side of Oshima Coast in Ghost of Yōtei. It is not one of the game’s standard Shrine Climbs. Instead, it is the entrance to the Mythic Tale The Storm Blade, a story-led exploration sequence involving the storyteller Ugetsu, a lost legendary sword and the legacy of the first Ghost.
The site lies south of Oiso Fishing Village, near the south-western edge of Oshima Coast. Its main approach consists of a torii-marked path leading towards an abandoned shrine beside a cliff and waterfall. During the Mythic Tale, Atsu investigates the shrine, enters a cavern, follows a fox-like trail and eventually confronts the thief who has taken the Storm Blade.
