Frostbite Peak is not currently verifiable as a named location in Ghost of Yōtei. Available sources describe the game’s major mountain area as Mount Yotei, a side region connected to the Yotei Grasslands, rather than Frostbite Peak. Guides also mention named mountain locations including Summit Peak, Chilled Peak Shrine and Sun’s Peak Shrine, but none establishes Frostbite Peak as an official region, subarea, landmark or mission location.
The distinction matters because the mountain should not be reduced to its summit. Mount Yotei is presented as a broader explorable area with lower and middle slopes, climbing routes, shrine paths, viewpoints and high-altitude locations. A guide under the title “Frostbite Peak” would therefore risk conflating several different places unless the name can be tied to an in-game map label, a quest objective, a location card or a reliable guide using the term consistently.
