Overview
Home of the First Shinobi is a named story location in the Oshima Coast region of Ghost of Yōtei. It is the abandoned refuge associated with Jin Sakai, the protagonist of Ghost of Tsushima, who is remembered in Yōtei as the “First Shinobi”. The location is visited during The Storm Blade, a Mythic Tale that begins with the storyteller Ugetsu and leads Atsu through a fox-guided route, a hidden den, a waterfall cave, a field of white flowers and, finally, a burial ground where she confronts a Nine Tails sword thief.
The house itself is not a settlement, shop or freely accessible hub. It is a secluded story location within a larger quest route. Its importance is primarily narrative: examining the remains of Jin’s life reveals that his legend survived while much of the truth about him was suppressed or distorted. The surrounding route also provides several major rewards, including the Storm Blade sword kit, Clan Sakai Stag Helmet, Ghost Mask and the Dance of Wrath technique.
