Overview

The Home of the Storyteller is a secluded cabin in the Yōtei Grasslands, associated with the travelling storyteller Ugetsu. It stands on a hill south of Lake View Fox Den and functions primarily as Ugetsu’s personal retreat, a story location and a later-world-state landmark rather than as a settlement, commercial hub or conventional safehouse.

The house is important because it ties together several of *Ghost of Yōtei*’s mythic tales and its recurring interest in storytelling, memory and the way legends change as they are retold. Ugetsu is not simply a quest giver who appears once on a roadside. His home provides a physical anchor for his character, contains written material, and changes after Atsu completes the relevant mythic content.
