Overview
Lake Jozan is a named exploration area in the north-west of the Yotei Grasslands. It is best known as the setting for the bounty hunt Soma the Condemned, whose hideout lies in a cave on the lake’s western side. Reaching the target requires more than simply entering the cave: Atsu must use the Shamisen and play the Song of Soma at the locked gate before the route into the hideout opens. The cave then becomes a short, linear traversal sequence ending in a duel.
Lake Jozan is not a separate main region. It belongs to the broader Yotei Grasslands, one of the game’s six principal regions. It should also be distinguished from the nearby route to Mount Yotei, which begins at Mount Yotei Shrine in western Yotei Grasslands, between the Yotei River and Lake Jozan. Mount Yotei is treated as a small side area rather than as part of Lake Jozan itself.
