Overview

Yotei River is a named subarea in the Yotei Grasslands, one of the early explorable regions in Ghost of Yōtei. It is not a separate major region, nor should it be confused with the wider Yotei Grasslands or with other rivers such as Nupur River, Sarubetsu River, Teshio River and Oyobe River.

The river is important primarily as an exploration corridor. It provides a natural route through the grasslands, leads towards the north-eastern approaches to Tokachi Range, and contains at least two confirmed activities: a Bamboo Strike and a Pillar of the Fallen. The Pillar awards the Noble Mist weapon-dye design, while the Bamboo Strike contributes to Atsu’s maximum Resolve progression.

Unlike a settlement such as an inn, trading post or residence, Yotei River is best understood as a named landscape area. Available evidence does not establish a permanent village, functional shop, blacksmith, stable, bathhouse, faction headquarters or unique resident within the river area itself.
