Red Crane Inn is one of the main hubs in Teshio Ridge, a snowy northern region of Ghost of Yōtei. It is both a practical settlement and a major story location. Atsu visits it while pursuing the Kitsune, returns there for investigations involving Oyuki, and can use its facilities for preparation, health upgrades, maps, bounties and equipment.

Unlike a simple rest stop, Red Crane Inn functions as a compact service centre. Confirmed facilities include a bounty board, gambling den, hot spring, cartographer, bowyer and regional merchant. The settlement also becomes important during later character and regional-progression scenes, particularly after the Nine Tails’ presence in Teshio Ridge has been weakened.

The inn is best understood as a named hub within Teshio Ridge, not as a synonym for the whole region. Nearby roads, camps, shrines, rivers, mountain routes and other Teshio Ridge locations should not automatically be treated as part of Red Crane Inn.
