Overview

Seianji Temple is a mountain temple in the western part of the Oshima Coast region in Ghost of Yōtei. It stands at the top of a long staircase and mountain approach connected to the Otsuki River, waterfalls and forest paths. The temple is both an exploration landmark and a story location, appearing prominently during A Wolf’s Pack, the Saito Brothers sequence, and the follow-up mission The Reckoning.

Unlike a heavily fortified castle or settlement, Seianji is presented as a quiet religious refuge. Its importance comes from the contrast between the violence elsewhere on Oshima Coast and the temple’s peaceful grounds. During the story, Atsu, Jubei, Oyuki and Kiku use the temple’s outskirts as a temporary camp, cook a meal, compose music and spend a comparatively calm evening together before the next stage of their confrontation with the Saito brothers.

The area also contains at least two independently reported Special Places. One is below the large waterfall near the temple entrance, while another is on the cliffside beyond the bridge facing the temple. The first is part of the commonly documented set used for the Speaking with the Land trophy.
