Overview
Elder Tree cannot currently be established as a canonical location in Ghost of Yōtei from the available evidence.
The game is set in the lands surrounding Mount Yōtei in Ezo, the area now known as Hokkaido, in 1603. Its officially described setting includes broad grasslands, snowy tundra and wilderness around Mount Yōtei. The official material confirms the game’s region and protagonist, but does not name an Elder Tree location.
