“Frozen Path” cannot currently be confirmed as an official map region, settlement, landmark, mission area or named subarea in the base game. Searches for the exact name returned no reliable location page or map entry. The strongest matching evidence places the relevant frozen traversal routes in Teshio Ridge, the snow-covered northern region associated with the Kitsune storyline, the Chilled Peak Shrine, the Enduring Hold Shrine, frozen lakes, the Teshio River and several Nine Tails hideouts.

This distinction matters. Teshio Ridge is a broad region, not merely the mountain shrine path. It contains lowland river approaches, forests, a frozen lake, settlements or service locations, collectible sites, wolf activities, enemy hideouts and separate mountain routes. A guide that treated the shrine climb alone as “Frozen Path” would risk reducing the wider region to its central ascent.
