Overview
Lake Jozan occupies the north-west of the Yōtei Grasslands. It is best treated as a named wilderness landmark with one confirmed story-associated point of interest rather than as a settlement, fort or full service hub. The principal attraction is a cave at the lake’s edge. Its entrance is marked by a locked wooden gate, with flute music audible from within. The gate cannot be opened by ordinary melee interaction. Instead, the player must use the Shamisen and play Song of Soma.
The lake also has a confirmed Sumi-E painting location on a nearby ridge. That collectible is separate from the bounty and should be searched for independently if you are clearing the wider Grasslands.
The available evidence does not support treating Lake Jozan as a large regional complex containing a dam, dam museum, downstream garden or hydroelectric facility. Those names belong to real-world Jōzankei Dam materials, not to the verified base-game Lake Jozan listings. The real Jōzankei Dam is located on the Otarunai River in modern Hokkaidō and opened in 1989.
