Overview

Lost Monk’s Camp is a minor camp location in the Yōtei Grasslands, positioned east to south-east of Yotei’s Shadow Inn. It is associated with Gessho, a wandering monk and friend of Isaburo the Cartographer, and becomes important during the side tale Lost in Reflection. The location is initially presented as Gessho’s temporary resting place, but it remains usable as a camp after the tale is complete.

The camp is easy to overlook because it is not one of the red hostile Yotei Six Camps, nor is it the same place as the nearby inn. Its main importance is narrative and exploratory: it is the starting point for a short escort sequence that opens a route through bamboo to an Altar of Reflection, followed by a fight with Saito’s men.
