Overview
Mount Yōtei Shrine is one of the most substantial shrine activities in Ghost of Yōtei. It is found in the western part of Yōtei Grasslands, between the Yōtei River and Lake Jōzan, and acts as the principal route to the game’s separate Mount Yōtei side area. Unlike an ordinary shrine stop, the activity begins at the mountain’s lower approach and continues through a long, mostly linear ascent involving ledges, handholds, jumps, slides and grappling-hook points.
The summit contains more than the shrine itself. Depending on progression, Atsu can find the shrine, an Altar of Reflection, a location associated with Master Hanbei, and the site of a duel with Takezō. The ascent therefore functions as both a shrine activity and a gateway to several optional exploration and character-related encounters.
