Overview

Saito Recruitment Camp is a hostile encampment in the northern Yotei Grasslands, across the Nupur River and north of Yotei’s Shadow Inn. It is one of the three Yotei Six camps in the Grasslands, alongside Saito Compound and Outcrop Homestead. Its occupation is associated with Clan Saito’s military presence and recruitment activity in the region.

Unlike Saito Compound, which has a named boss encounter, Saito Recruitment Camp is a standard liberation activity. Atsu must eliminate the camp’s hostile occupants, after which the location becomes friendly and provides the normal benefits associated with a cleared Yotei Six camp. These include an Altar of Reflection, a fast-travel point, a nearby stash and the arrival of Taro, the trader.

The camp is particularly suitable for stealth. It contains a watchtower, tents, ropes and elevated ground that allow Atsu to approach from above, move between sections and perform aerial assassinations. Archery is also effective from the surrounding cliffs.
