Overview

Serpent’s Pass is a rocky northern subarea of the Yōtei Grasslands in Ghost of Yōtei. It is best understood as a route and landmark zone rather than a settlement. The pass lies near the north-eastern edge of the Grasslands, close to the route into the Tokachi Range, and contains a cave network, the Twisted Tree, the Serpent’s Pass Altar of Reflection, and the approach to Blooming Ridge Shrine.

The area is easy to misread on the map. “Serpent’s Pass” does not describe the entire north-eastern approach to Tokachi Range, nor does it include every nearby activity. Blooming Ridge Shrine is described as being in the Serpent’s Pass area, but the Tokachi Range itself is a separate region reached by continuing east or north-east from the pass. The Reliquary of Resilience, meanwhile, is in Tokachi Range at the northern mouth of the pass, not inside the Yōtei Grasslands subarea proper.
