Overview
Silent Valley is best treated as a location-name ambiguity in Ghost of Yōtei. Current map and guide material identifies Silent Valley Hot Spring, not a separate major province or open-world region called Silent Valley. The spring is located in the Tokachi Range, northwest of Huranui Rest Inn and east of Saito Camp. Its confirmed function is to increase Atsu’s maximum health when she bathes there.
This distinction matters. Ghost of Yōtei divides its playable world into major regions including the Tokachi Range, while named points of interest inside those regions can use descriptive names such as Silent Valley Hot Spring. The broader Tokachi Range should not be reduced to the spring’s immediate surroundings, and the spring should not be promoted to a separate region without stronger evidence.
