Overview

Mount Yōtei is treated separately as a smaller side area reached through the Mount Yōtei Shrine route.

The Mount Yōtei Shrine lies in the north-western part of the Yōtei Grasslands. Its route provides the recognised climb towards the mountain summit. Guides describe the approach as a linear mountain path rather than a broad explorable region with settlements, roads and a conventional regional hierarchy.

The Mountain Trail is another named location connected with Mount Yōtei. It lies in the western Yōtei Grasslands, near the initially restricted route towards Oshima Coast. The area is important for reaching Master Hanbei’s hut and for obtaining the Dual Katana, although access is affected by story progression.

The summit is the most plausible intended subject if “Celestial Peak” was used as an informal translation or alternate name. It contains the mountain’s crater area and is associated with a duel against Takezō. It also has major story significance later in the game, including the final confrontation with the Onryō according to available boss-location material. These are separate progression states and should not be collapsed into a single generic “peak” entry.
