Overview
Ginsendai is a real-world mountain trailhead in Hokkaidō, Japan. It is associated with the Daisetsuzan mountain area and provides access towards Mount Aka-dake, Mount Midori-dake and Kogen Onsen. The official Daisetsuzan route map lists both a Sounkyo–Ginsendai Route and a Ginsendai–Kogen Onsen Route, including a route from Ginsendai to Mount Aka-dake, Mount Midori-dake and Kogen Onsen.
It is not presently supported by the available evidence as a named location in Ghost of Yōtei. The game’s official PlayStation description places Atsu’s story in rural northern Japan during the 1600s, but it does not identify Ginsendai as a game location. Available game-location references instead organise the playable world around named regions such as the Yōtei Grasslands, Ishikari Plain, Teshio Ridge and Tokachi Range, as well as settlements, forts, camps and other in-game landmarks.
