Overview

Shirahige Falls is a named location in the Yōtei Grasslands, in the southern part of the region. It is not merely a waterfall marker. The wider area includes the falls themselves, a nearby Saito-controlled outpost, a lighthouse, a hot spring and an Altar of Reflection. The location also acts as a useful reference point for the approach to Fall’s Rest Shrine, although the shrine’s entrance is treated by walkthrough sources as a nearby Grasslands landmark rather than part of Shirahige Falls proper.

Shirahige Falls is particularly important during the Muneji the Bone Crusher bounty. The target is found at the Saito Compound beside the lighthouse, and clearing the compound both completes the combat objective and liberates the outpost.

The location also contains one of the Grasslands’ Altars of Reflection. The altar can be found at or above the falls, with guides describing the route as entering the large waterfall and swimming into the cave behind it.
