Overview
I could not verify Erimo Cape as a named location in Ghost of Yōtei. The available game references identify the setting as the fictionalised Ezo region around Mount Yōtei, divided into named game regions such as Yotei Grasslands, Ishikari Plain, Tokachi Range, Nayoro Wilds, Teshio Ridge and Oshima Coast. They do not identify an in-game area called Erimo Cape.
These are not interchangeable. Cape Erimo is a real Hokkaidō landmark, while Cape Inari Hideout is an in-game location. The game’s developers describe Ghost of Yōtei as an original depiction of Ezo inspired by real Japanese landscapes, rather than a direct reproduction of every real-world place name.
