Overview
“Hidden Valley” is a commonly used descriptive label for the secluded valley explored in Ghost of Yōtei: Echoes of Sekigahara. It is not presently safe to present that phrase as the area’s official in-game name. The expansion is set in a previously unseen valley that was once occupied by the Snake’s followers, the Vipers. Current walkthroughs place the playable DLC region under Ashoro Foothills, with Ashoro Springs serving as its principal settlement.
The valley is separate from the six principal regions of the base game. It should not be merged with Yōtei Grasslands, Tokachi Range, or any other neighbouring region simply because the player reaches it from the existing map. Nor should it be confused with the Quiet Valley Hot Spring, which is a named activity location elsewhere in the game and not evidence of a broader region called Hidden Valley.
