Overview
“Shadowed Peak” does not currently appear to be a confirmed English in-game location name for Ghost of Yōtei. The most likely source of confusion is Mount Yōtei, the optional side area surrounding the summit of the game’s namesake mountain. Mount Yōtei is distinct from the six principal open-world regions and is reached through a shrine path in the western part of the Yōtei Grasslands.
The distinction matters. Mount Yōtei is not simply a landmark inside the Yōtei Grasslands, nor is it a broad seventh main region equivalent to Teshio Ridge or the Oshima Coast. Available guides consistently describe it as a small side area accessed by a linear ascent. The Yōtei Grasslands remain the surrounding main region, while the mountain climb forms a separate progression space with its own route and summit content.
